Jostlyn Stilson

I’m Jostlyn, a wife, a mom to two incredible kids, Oliver and Eleanor, and someone who deeply values documenting life as it really is. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Carson, for 14 years, and much of how I see the world has been shaped by family, time passing quickly, and the importance of holding onto the moments that matter.

I’ve been a wedding and portrait photographer in Southern Utah for the past 16 years. Over time, experience has allowed me to fine tune both my craft and my approach.

I grew up in the film era with a mom who loved to document my life. I still have bins and books filled with printed photos, and as I’ve gotten older, they’ve become some of my most treasured possessions. That upbringing shaped not only my love for photography, but my belief that every season of life deserves to be documented. Often the ordinary moments end up meaning the most.

I’m an extremely passionate person, about my work, my people, a really good cheeseburger, great cameras, and Schitt’s Creek. Not necessarily in that order, but probably close.

At the heart of it all, I care deeply about people and the stories they trust me to preserve.

Photography
is personal

Choosing a photographer is about more than images. It’s about trust, connection, and feeling understood. If you value a thoughtful, guided experience and photographs that reflect real life, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
