Kayenta High school senior session

I love photographing high school seniors! Such an exciting, fun time at that age. This one was especially fun because I’ve watched him grow up over the last 7 years of photographing his family! We decided to go out to Kayenta for these photos, and this location never disappoints. Kayenta is a community in Ivins, Utah with gorgeous red mountains, desert scenery, and some of my favorite Southern Utah landscapes for portraits.

Kayenta is especially great for senior sessions because it has so much variety while still feeling relaxed and easy to access. The warm desert tones, sandstone, and mountain views make such a perfect backdrop for natural, timeless senior photos.

We were able to explore several different spots throughout the session and capture a mix of classic senior portraits, candid moments, and scenic desert views. I loved how these turned out!
