Olivia + Jordan | Kolob Canyons Elopement

Olivia and Jordan chose the Timber Creek Overlook in Zion National Park for their Southern Utah elopement, and it ended up being the perfect mix of quiet, scenic, and relaxed. The towering red cliffs, winding canyon roads, and softer pace of Kolob Canyons made the whole day feel incredibly peaceful.

One of my favorite things about elopements in this area is how intentional they feel. Without the pressure of a huge timeline or crowded venue, couples really get to slow down and enjoy the experience together.

The weather was absolutely perfect for late April, with everything starting to green back up in this higher elevation. We left Timber Creek Overlook and drove to other other side of Kolob to get the beautiful layered mountains and the grand scenic overlook into the backside of Zion. I could have photographed them for the entire day!

A little review from Olivia and Jordan: “Jostlyn was a dream to work with! She shot our destination micro-wedding and even scoped out the location prior and recommended other nearby locations we could go for more photos. Her communication was excellent, she provided great direction so we didn’t feel awkward, and delivered SO MANY amazing photos! Highly recommend!”

I’d love to capture your micro-wedding, elopement, or full day celebration! If you’re planning a Zion or Kolob Canyons wedding and want photos that feel natural, colorful, and true to the experience, I’d love to connect.
